PTV Sports is 24-hour Pakistani sports channel. The PTV Sports test transmission began emanating from AsiaSat 3S at an orbit of 105.5ºE on 30 December 2011.It belongs to the Pakistan Television Corporation. An agreement signed between PTV and Zee TV was aimed at only promoting and broadcasting sports events on the state-run channel.
Geo Super is the first 24-hour Pakistani Sports channel dedicated to the world of sports. It belongs to Independent Media Corporation, owner of the Jang Group of Newspapers. In late September, 2006, after great success of Geo TV, GEO Television Network launched a new and the first ever 24-hour sports channel of Pakistan.
Its key programming includes Cricket, Football and sports-entertainment shows viz. WWE. Ten Sports was launched on April 1, 2002, and became the world’s premier sports channel for South Asians, reaching over 55 million homes across the Sub-continent, Middle East, Europe and Asia.
