LAHORE (December 11, 2011): CHIEF Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the country can be put on the road to progress and prosperity by equipping the new generation with modern knowledge.

He said the Punjab government was pursuing a strategy for promotion of information technology in the province. He disclosed that after IT labs, a programme of distribution of 100,000 laptops among the talented male and female students of the province had been chalked out and like the IT labs, the process of distribution of laptop computers would also be completed in a transparent manner.
The chief minister was presiding over a meeting held to review the progress of the programme of distribution of laptops to exceptional students of the province at Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Saturday.

AOA. i m sindhi student. i got 72% marks in bsc and now studying in qau. laptops are given to punjab domicile students. why not to us. we are also same university students. you are creating difference of provinces. if u have selected universitites, then it means that all university students are equal. if u want to give to punjab students then dont give only to QAU, NUST, PU but to all punjab universities.
