How To Get Register In Shahbaz Sharif Laptop Scheme If You Are Selected
If you are selected for shahbaz sharif scheme you must get registered before 31st December, 2011 (31-12-2011). There is no need to apply in your relevant college/university. You just check list if your name is listed then click the following link for online registration given below and fill all the data that is required e.g; NIC # and proceed further

Punjab Government Laptop scheme is just for regular students of authorized universities. school students and intermediate studying students can not be apply for this scheme. regular student of universities must be contact to admin offices of their universities.

You have decided to give laptops only to the selected institutions.My question is why discriminate the institutes?Is he the CM for only selected people or all the people of PUNJAB?All students must be treated equally and should be given equal opportunities.If he is the CM of all the people in Punjab then he must include all universities in PUNJAB and then distribute the laptops to all students who comes in top 100,000 in percentage.If you really care about all students then you will think about it because every student deserve a chance. I am also eligible according to the eligibility criteria but because I am studying in a private institute ,I am not getting a chance.I got 80% marks in matriculation exam,77% marks in DAE,and now I am the student of Mechanical Engineering 5th semester and in previous 4 semesters I have 3.21 GPA which means 80% marks.Now you tell me am I eligible or not?There are a lot of other students who have the same record as mine.It is not unfair to all students like me?If you do something about this then I think I have not wasted my time.

With extreme due respect I want to state that I am a student of NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (NUST) H-12 Campus in MS-IT-12 discipline. Sir I want to request you for the Laptop that are awarded to the students from the Punjab Government as I am really deserving and needy. Me and my family are facing extreme financial drawbacks at home as my father is sick from past 18 years. Its quite hard for me to afford a laptop. Sir as you know that being a student of IT a laptop is necessary to work for assignments as well as projects. The criteria that has been mentioned is that a student should have 70% or above in their last semester for the undergoing degree. Sir I am up to the criteria that has been defined by the government but the only reason is that I am in a Federal university.Sir NUST university has a worldwide name and cream of students are lucky enough to get admission in it as their admission criteria is on total merit based. Sir don’t you think that the students of NUST who have worked hard and have good educational percentage deserve the laptops? This humble cause by you is university based, but why this cause is not student centralized? Even the fees in government universities are low.Only I know how my family is paying my fee.What should a student like me do? Either I should regret that I am not in Government university where you just have to get passing marks to get admission and you just have to be enrolled in MS/M.Phil program (as all ms enrolled students are eligible for the laptops) or being in institute like NUST where students work to their limits to get admission and where the criteria starts from 70% just for the admission (excluding the interviews and your skills).The laptops given in our university are given to 10 top students according to the policy(for federal University) but in other universities of Islamabad they are given to every MS enrolled student. Kind Sir, I secured 4.00/4.00 GPA in my last semester of MS-IT..Sir I can only work in day time in the labs of my department whereas in evening and at night I cannot do anything because I don’t have a laptop.Sir I surely believe and expect that you will consider my request for the laptop as I really deserve it and I am entering the research phase where you need a computer machine always with you.Sir i desperately need a laptop as time is passing by and my research time is going, i want to complete my M.S so that i can do a job and support my family.
I also tried to email commissioner Rawalpindi as he was for the region for grievances but his email address given on your site is incorrect.
I hope my this request reaches you and you act upon it so that i could have a firm believe on you that sir you really are a kind hearted person who helps others not for his benefit but for humanity. ALLAH Apko iska ajar day ga amin. I m waiting for you sir.Please don’t let me down and weaken my believe in you.
